The Talkabout T82 Extreme has IPx4 waterproof protection. This rating guarantees protection against splashing water no matter where it comes from. The TALKABOUT T82 EXTREME withstands rain, snow and generally harsh weather conditions. Now you don't have to worry about the weather.

• Display

The Talkabout T82 Extreme LED is activated to give you the information you need only when you need it. You'll only see the icons that are in use - making it much easier to make calls. And, when you're not using your walkie-talkie, the display is in a hidden state. The result is a sleek and simple design that you'll love at first sight.

• LED Flashlight

On any adventure, it's important to see what you're doing and where you're going. Talkabout T82 Extreme has a built-in LED flashlight, so you can get to your desired destination even in the dark. The LED flashlight also gives you the ability to read maps at night and easily see the contents of backpacks and bags. Now you can be sure to have emergency lighting when you need it.

• Emergency Call

There is an emergency call button on the side - press and hold for 3s (then a loud alarm will sound) and activate the hands-free feature (iVOX) to send messages to your group, calling for help.

• Vibration Mode

Set the rights Talkabout T82 Extreme to vibrate mode instead of a ringing tone. The vibration tone is especially useful in places where the ringing tone can be obtrusive, or in noisy environments where excessive noise may prevent you from hearing the beep.

Using 16 channels with user-selected privacy codes (121 connection codes per channel), you can provide a clear signal within a radius of up to 10 km. The Talkabout T82 Extreme radios are also compatible with other TALKABOUT radios and any radio operating on the same PMR446 frequencies.
