A portable radio, or walkie-talkie, is a class of compact transmitting and receiving radio devices. First of all, it is a portable intercom, the characteristics of which differ depending on the scope of application: HoReCa, public safety, emergency response services, sports and leisure. The voice signal is converted to digital on the sender side, and after transmission, the decoder performs the reverse conversion on the received side.
